The fountains of the National World War II Memorial in Washington, DC are encircled by large granite pillars engraved with the names of the states. I’ve been so busy with portraits and weddings this summer, then I’ve only just gotten around to processing the photos I shot at my DC Memorials at Night [...] In late June, the water lilies at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens are in full bloom. The land of Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens was initially bought by W.B. Shaw, who farmed water lilies in the marshes as a hobby, eventually turning it into a large commercial endeavor and developing many new varieties of lilies through hybridization. So if you thought I’d fallen off the blog wagon over the past week, it’s just because I’ve been hard at work on Emily & Jason’s wedding photographs and storybook album! Emily & Jason are the beautiful bride and groom who got married [...] An of ISO 100 and aperture of f/13 were just the right combination to give a shutter speed of 6.0 sec, allowing the camera to capture this Freak Out carnival ride at the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair several times along its entire length, resulting in the blur of color shown here. I’m going [...] Here’s a second batch of favorites from last weekend’s maternity and family photo shoot of Kristen, Dan, Owen, and Baby! We’re going to be doing a newborn shoot in a few weeks when the baby comes out! Can’t wait to see the little cutie! [...] Yesterday, I was over at Kristen & Dan’s house for a maternity photo shoot.
