Utah Parks Road Trip, Day 3: Bryce Canyon

Today, we visited Inspiration Point, Bryce Point, and Sunset Point.  In the afternoon, we hiked the 2.2 mile, 1.5 hour Navajo loop from Sunset Point down into the canyon.  The snow is deep, but just a few icy points on the path.  Not bad if you go down on the left side of the loop and up on the right, which is the steeper side.  Now that we’ve tested the waters, we’re planning a much longer hike tomorrow – either Peekaboo or Fairyland, if it’s open.  We’ll also get up for the sunrise – but as it’s not until 7:42 AM, it’s not that bad!  So far, I like visiting Bryce best, but I like my Day 1 photos of Arches better…  Am I getting tired?  I’m going to have to get extra inspired tomorrow…  To download a pdf on buying fine art photography, click here.

Merry Chistmas!
