So if you thought I’d fallen off the blog wagon over the past week, it’s just because I’ve been hard at work on Emily & Jason’s wedding photographs and storybook album!  Emily & Jason are the beautiful bride and groom who got married at the Lorien Hotel & Spa in Alexandria, Virginia last Saturday.  Emily wore a divine Pronovias wedding dress from Distinctive Designs Bridal in Rockville, Maryland with hair and makeup done by Circe Aveda Salon & Day Spa in Alexandria.  Right now, they are off enjoying what I’m sure is a wonderful honeymoon in Hawaii.  They had family come in from pretty much all ends of the country.  Before the ceremony, we strolled Old Town Alexandria for Emily & Jason’s “photo walk.”  Just a few blocks from the Lorien, there’s a cute little park with a green leaf wall backdrop and elegant wrought iron spiral columns.  Good choice, Emily!  The Lorien also made for a very nice setting for the wedding party portraits.  The red brick courtyard at the entrance of the hotel is really quite beautiful.  Then at the ceremony, Jason was experiencing a new height of nervousness as he waited for Emily to appear, but then, there she came, walking towards us, beautiful and composed as could be!  Emily & Jason…I’m so honored to have been a part of your special day…  Thank you, and congratulations!!!

Click “View with PicLens” below for a full-screen slideshow of Emily & Jason’s custom-designed 10×10, 60-page wedding storybook album.  My storybook albums are press-printed, and the pages lie flat with a thick and rigid feel.  They’re available in 20, 40, or 60 pages.  Cover options include fabric, leather, and suede covers, or a luster or metallic custom photo cover.  Inside paper options are art water color, art linen, or, my favorite…pearl paper.  The albums are absolutely beautiful, just like Emily & Jason!!!
