Idrissa and I spent two hours this weekend at the Cathedral of St. Matthew in Washington, DC. A stolen idea. From the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in New Orleans has the most awsomest bed I have ever ever slept on. It was so soft. So fluffy. So comfortable. One evening, I lifted up the bed sheets to peek at [...] The Spanish-style architecture of the French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana dates back hundreds of years to the 1700s. It is distinctive for the intricate, wrought iron balconies and central courtyards of the multi-story homes, and quaint doors, windows, and stoops of the 1-story homes. I got there a little early to do some scouting, but had just a minute or two for a peek inside the cathedral itself.
