OK, perhaps I’m being a little dramatic. But still, this is the day that I’ll never forget. The day my Yaktrax fell into the abyss. The day I was stuck way out in the funnel. Plus, it’s a lot of work to be out shooting all day and then come back and process photos at night! Anyway, we got up for the sunrise…and it was BITTER cold. In the afternoon, we hiked the 2.2 mile, 1.5 hour Navajo loop from Sunset Point down into the canyon. The snow is deep, but just a few icy points on the path.
