Kathleen’s Cupcake Birthday Party in Silver Spring, Maryland. The birthday girl turned two this year and entertained her four friends with multi-colored cupcakes, Roman wreaths, and a slide with a flower-lined runway, courtesy of Kathleen’s mom’s creative vision. Although we didn’t quite manage to [...] A few weeks ago (or has it been a month now?), my husband, Idrissa, and I spent the day in Washington, D.C. Here are a few photographs of the two of us in front of the U.S. Capitol. A few hours around the Mall area and memorials always makes for great wedding party photographs [...] Just 2 1/2 weeks ago, I drove up to Annapolis the Willard family’s annual reunion. With 7 individual families and 36 people across FOUR generations (!), the Willards are a pretty amazing and wonderful family!
