After the hours of getting ready that wedding morning last Saturday, July 17th… after the ceremony, where I watched Issy’s mom wipe tears from her eyes… after the formal portraits of the newlyweds and family… and after the wedding brunch… it was time for… the wedding JOYRIDE!!! Issy’s mom and dad drove me in a second [...] Wedding portraits at a park in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. So if you thought I’d fallen off the blog wagon over the past week, it’s just because I’ve been hard at work on Emily & Jason’s wedding photographs and storybook album! Emily & Jason are the beautiful bride and groom who got married at the [...] Megan and I braved the heat last weekend for an early morning portrait photography shoot at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens in Washington, DC. Megan was choosing between Kenilworth and the National Arboretum for her shoot – good choice, Megan! This is peak season, and the lilies were absolutely AMAZING – waist high, and fields and fields [...] Here’s a second batch of favorites from the past week’s family portrait photography session of Temple, Dameon & Vincent at the Washington National Cathedral gardens. Now how much more photogenic can one family get? Earlier this week, I got together for a portrait session of Temple and Dameon, proud first-time parents of little four-month old Vincent. Temple spends a lot of time at the Washington National Cathedral gardens, and it’s so peaceful and quietly beautiful out there, it made for a serene location for an early evening shoot.
