Makayla had dillied and dallied, but finally made her way into the world at the end of last month. And pink and cherubic, sweetly smiling, and one eye open for her first professional portraits at just 6 days young, this little newborn baby is just about as precious as they come. When Brittney & Lawrence first called me up to talk to me about their elopement wedding plans, they envisioned a ceremony in a local park and asked me for suggestions on locations. Orange and blue colors weaved throughout the wedding details, which included glass goldfish bowls and a beautiful tiered wedding cake topped with two sweetly kissing goldfish. Rather, I make my own studio wherever I go! Why do I do that? Well, for weddings and special events, I can’t control the location. For one of them, I was over at the offices of a tech start-up in Gaithersburg, Maryland creating executive portraits of four members of the leadership team for their new corporate website.
