I’ve been contemplating the image-creation process this week, as I work on a series of images of Great Falls. Virgin River, snow-covered mountains in the background, Zion National Park, Utah With yesterday’s AWESOME fiery Zion sunset, we were totally motivated to get up early this morning, hopeful for an incredible sunrise. Alas, it was not to be. It was already snowing when the alarm sounded at 6 AM. We still rushed to get ready and [...] This has got to be my best photography day yet on this trip. Remember I said a few days ago that I couldn’t imagine Zion being more spectacular than Bryce? Well, today was absolutely incredible. We went up the Weeping Rock trail, which was pretty icy.
