I’ve photographed a number of weddings and events at the Lorien Hotel & Spa in Old Town Alexandria, and it’s always a pleasure. It’s a great setting for wedding party formals, with the red brick courtyard at the entrance of the hotel, and another brick courtyard in back for ceremonies. Ceremonies can also be held on the upper-level terraces of the hotel. And just a few blocks away, there’s a cute little park with a green leaf wall backdrop and elegant wrought iron spiral columns, that makes for a terrific setting for the bride & groom photo walk.
