Founded in 1913, the Woman’s Club of Chevy Chase works to promote education, preserve natural resources, and encourage healthy lifestyles, while also addressing issues of concern to women, children and families.
The facilities are available for rent for both public and private events, and a professional full-service kitchen is available for even the most demanding caterer. The main auditorium has a full-size stage (19×23 feet) with stage lighting and room (50×70 feet) for dining and a live band or DJ and dancing. The club also has a smaller South Wing area for either small events or additional space for larger events.
The main auditorium will accommodate a sit-down dinner for up to 200 people with dancing or 250 people without dancing. The South Wing will hold 50 people. Three French doors off to the side of the main auditorium lead to an outdoor patio and garden area. The club can provide folding chairs and tables as part of the rental fee. There is a private parking lot with 90 spaces and a convenient rear entrance into the clubhouse for guests.
